Denise Work Obituary

WORK - DENISE Mar 8, 1956-Feb 22, 2011 In loving memory of Denise Work a loving wife to Allen Work, mother to Jody, Brad (Chantelle), Angie (Mark Woiken), and Barry, grandmother to Ella Woiken, daughter, sister and friend. Denise always put others before herself. She lived life to its fullest and never let a moment pass by without a smile or a memory. Although Denise's life was cut short, she made the most of the time she had. When she wasn't working at the hospital as a licenced practical nurse, she could be found spending time with her husband, children and grandchild, working in her garden, on her house, or out visiting friends and family. Denise was an inspiration and positive spirit to all of her family and friends. She will be missed and is forever and always in our hearts. A big thank you to all the loving care from the University Hospital of Northern British Columbia (especially the Pain Clinic) and Prince George Hospice for helping us take this journey with Denise. A viewing will be held at Assman's Funeral Chapel on Friday, February 25, 2011 at 6pm followed by a prayer service at 7pm. Funeral mass to follow on Saturday, February 26, 2011 at 10am at St. Mary's Church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the UHNBC Pain Clinic or Prince George Hospice Society.
