Edith Madill Obituary

MADILL - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Edith Grace Madill on August 20, 2015 in Prince George, B.C. Grace was predeceased by husband William, sisters Margaret and Jean and brother Chip. Grace is survived by sister Betty Hedley, and brothers Jack Boyd and Harvey Boyd. son Ron (Wilma), daughters Gail, Betty (Ed), grandchildren Ronda, Kim, Charlie, Laura, Catharine and 8 great grandchildren. Grace was born in Eston Saskatchewan in 1921. The family moved to Prince George in 1956. Grace was a lifetime member of the Royal Canadian Legion and worked tirelessly for many years with the Ladies Auxiliary to Branch 43. She lived her 94 years with a zest for life, a great interest in current events and was always kind, considerate and generous to her family and friends. She is lovingly remembered and will be sadly missed. As per Grace's wishes, there will not be a service or funeral. In lieu of flowers donations may be made the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 43. Ron,Gail,Betty & families I was saddened to hear of your mothers passing. Hard to imagine we moved from Alward St. 40 years ago. Hoping good memories can sustain you at this difficult time.
