Ernest Moe Obituary

Ernie Moe passed away peacefully on March 3rd, 2013 at the age of 89. Born in Scout Lake, Sask, Ernie moved to Prince George in 1948. In 1973 he moved his family to Vernon where he stayed until retirement. He and his wife then travelled for several years prior to calling Vanderhoof home in 1988.

He is survived and will be sadly missed by his loving wife Vona of 55 years; his four children, Dennis (Donna) of Lillooet, Donny (Lynn) of Vanderhoof, Brenda (Delbert Peterson) of Prince George and Cheryl (Chris Heidt) of Armstrong; six grandchildren, Darryl (Denise), Kenny (Despo), Derek (Cassie), Chris (Judy), Natasha (Stuart), and Terry (Natalia); six great grandchildren which he loved dearly; Madison, Mercedes, Aleah, Grace, Gage and Daxton. Also mourning his passing are his brothers Gordon (Verna) of Edmonton, Clifford (Shirley) of Prince George, brother-in-law; Jack McEwen (Babe), as well as numerous nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.

The family wishes to send out their heartfelt thanks to St John Hospital and Stuart Nechako Manor staff for the incredible care and love that they gave Ernie over the past three and one half years...they are truly an amazing group of people.
