Melinda and Laura, I cannot imagine how difficult it has been to lose both of your parents. My heart mourns for both of you as it is always so tough to live with the gaping holes in our lives when special ones leave. Your parents were wonderful people who fiercely loved and protected you both. I will never forget your dad's patience in teaching me how to score on our weekly bowling adventures and how excited he was when I finally got my two X's in a row. I am thinking of you both and sending virtual hugs from across the ocean.
Take care of each other.
In kindness and with fond memories of you and your family during my Pineview days,
Liane Rafuse

Aww so sorry to hear this used to see them every day when Earnie and Bev brought there two precious girls Laura and Melinda to the bowling alley.Bev was the sweetest lady I’ve ever met and Earnie was a gentleman with not to many words.Just a super nice family als I worked at Pg taxi for years and Earnie worked right in behind us at Alan’s scrap and salvage.Always seemed to be such a hard worker. You have written a very beautiful notice in memory of Ernie. A ‘kind, gentle, selfless soul, who loved to joke and made the world brighter' is a most fitting description indeed of a very wonderful man. We also knew him as a hard-working man, a devoted and doting husband, and as a very, very proud father of his two daughters. We will miss his sense of humor!
