VANCE, Eva Anne
February 7, 1929 - May 18, 2023
Our sweet mother, Eva Anne Vance, passed away in Prince George on the beautiful spring morning of May 18, 2023. She loved and served us extraordinarily, unconditionally and humbly until the admirable age of 94.
Eva is predeceased by her beloved husband of 71 years, Lyle; her honoured parents Edith and John Olshaskie and her adored sister Amy. She is survived by her dear sister Jean MacDonnell; daughters Maureen and Karma; sons Burl (Julie) and Mark (Maxine); many sweet grandchildren; great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Eva will return to her birthplace in the sacred rolling foothills of Southern Alberta to rest beside her cherished husband Lyle. We will gather to honour and celebrate them there later this summer.
Eva's greatest gift was her service and infinite devotion to her family. In lieu of flowers, we ask that you might remember Eva when you melt at the sight of a baby, smile lovingly at a child or delight in the arms and laughter of your beloveds. That is her glorious legacy.
