Gino Margherit Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Gino Lino Margherit at the age of 56 on July 9, 2016. Gino was born on December 16, 1959 in Kapuskasing, Ontario and moved to British Columbia in 1985. In 1987 Gino moved to Mackenzie, BC to work for Mackenzie Pulp and Paper Mill until present day, but Prince George is where he called home. Gino was predeceased by his father Sergio, his mother Rejeane, his brother Mario and his baby sister. Gino is survived by his loving wife Cindy Margherit, his children: Josh Margherit, Blaine (Leslie) Markwart, Shain (Nadine) Markwart, Brandt (Cheyenne) Markwart and Shanna (Geoff) Gibson. Gino is also survived by his brothers Carlo and Daniel Margherit and his sister Nancy Wilson. He is survived by his 9 grandchildren, his nieces and nephews, relatives and numerous friends. Gino will be best remembered for his generosity, his humor, his practical jokes and pranks, but mostly for his kind, loving heart. A viewing will be held on Friday July 15, 2016 from 6:00pm-8:00pm at Assman's Funeral Chapel, 1902 Queensway St, Prince George. Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at 2:00pm at the Moose Hall, 663 Douglas St., Prince George.
