Gordon Erickson Obituary

Gordon Erickson has started his next adventure after a long, courageous and fierce battle. Gord is lovingly survived by his wife BettyAnn (Heidi) his sisters Marlene and Lorraine (Mike), in-laws Corendie (Gord) & Errol and many nieces and nephews as well as his dog Molly. Gord lived life to the fullest with simple pleasures such as motorcycle riding, fishing, sailing, reading thought provoking material and, most of all, spending time at his meetings with friends. He had a special way of looking at the serenity and simplicity in life. He spent the majority of his career as a log truck driver. Fearless in the coastal mountains. Gord was excited to see what was in the beyond. He wanted to fish again with his father, play crib with his mother and mother -in-law, walk his dogs and, finally, learn the questions of the universe of which he had so many of. Special thanks to Rotary Hospice that took such good care of Gord and his family and friends while he was on his final journey. There will be a celebration of life for Gord at the Alano Society at 725 Alward Street on Saturday March 3rd 2:00pm.
