Dear Wayne and Ted.
This note is from Barb Bassett. (Nee Bailey).
Gordie did a search for Greg and found our answer, his obit.
Greg was a very special person in our lives, especially mine...my first kiss.
Gordie, Greg and I were great friends growing up. The fondest of memories are riding in Gord's '57 Chev, A & W burgers, skiing, drive-ins, and just being kids. We played guitar together and he let me cut his hair. Mom, Polly, was always pleased when Greg came to the back door and asked for me.
I saw Wayne while I was a student nurse at VGH, and he made my life easier while I was in training. I graduated as Mrs. Barbara Bassett, (Robert) class of Feb; '74. Greg was the date for a class mate at capping. Later I was sad that I had lined him up, and that he was not my date.
It is unfortunate that we lost touch over the years. What a wonderful heart-felt reunion Gordie, Greg and I would have had.
Greg will always be in our hearts.

Greg and I were best of friends from 8 years of age. The top picture is in my wedding party.
The bottom picture is his grade 12 graduation. This discovery of his passing has been deeply
moving, I have great piece in the fact that he is safe with his father GOD.
