To Ike's family. Sorry for your loss. Just got back from Mexico and was told of his passing. Knew him for 50 years. We went fishing many times. Worked with him on the pipe line. He flew my son to a hockey school. Great guy. Sincerely. Barry Miller

Hi Bernice, Jerry and Kathy.
I have not met uncle Ike many times in my life but every time I did he had a big hearty smile and some kind words. I remember him fondly as the fearless uncle. I can remember him telling us how the plane maximum weight ratings were not very accurate. He would learn by trial and error what a plane could actually lift off the ground with. He just needed good brakes so he could stop in time if he was overloaded. Great memories from a man that I looked up to.
Love From our family Nancy, Kailyn, Carla and James

Hi Aunt Bernice. On behalf of Mom and Dad, Sandi and myself, we extend condolences to you and your family. I will see Mom and Dad later today and tomorrow and ask them if there is anything more they would like to stay.
I do have some memories....uncle Ike tall man ducking through doorways as he made his way from room to room. I remember his laughter. I did not know him well but did work for him at 17 on the Skeena. I remember him running the cats along the rivers edge when others were apprehensive to do so. I remember him "unstucking" the D8 when nobody else could get it out. I remember him driving down the gravel highway..85-90 mph....I loved it. He "loved " the bush and seemed to excel in his work there.
Dad will miss him as he enjoyed his calls with his brother. On behalf of jake and Anne Janzen Love and prayers Don
