Ivor you will be greatly missed,
There are too many things for me to list.
Your garden, your yard, your hot dog roast,
There will be many things for us to toast.

I remember the time you put up a sign,
"For Sale", Ivor Haddleton was the line.
The next time Ivor Haddleton stopped by,
He put up a sign that said "SOLD", oh my oh my.

Yes your Dad was on a non-stop flight to heaven,
Window seat in aisle seven.
Singing and dancing as only he could do,
And praying you will be happy for him to.

There is not a day that will go by,
Where you will laugh and or cry,
Daily you will think of your Papa Bear,
And know he is getting the best of all care.

His chair sits empty at the table,
Now God has a chair with his label.
It says WELCOME Ivor you are home,
And you will never never be alone.

I know how it feels to say good-bye,
To stand by their bed where they do lie.
Hold his hand and say "I love you,"
And the squeeze from his hand says "I love you too!!"

Heaven is a great place to end,
And in time your hearts will have a chance to mend.
Knowing that your Dad is watching over you,
He will always be the family glue.

Mr Haddleton, you provided me with many fond childhood memories in your garden, yard and home. I can recall like it was yesterday the fall days I spent in your backyard raking leaves and jumping or riding through the piles with Leisa. The lovely old brick fireplace and the hotdogs we would roast. All the remenants of the fall harvest on your back porch. You were well ahead of the environmentalist with your compost. Although as kids we would walk clear of it cause it had mice and bugs :). You know Leisa....she was never found of those kind of things. Thank you for the snow forts, the leaf piles, the garden, the playhouse, the hotdog roasts, the Santa display and the warmth of you smile when I rode into your yard to see my best friend.
