I am immensely sad that Jim has left us so suddenly and so prematurely. He was a kind and generous friend, and indeed a beautiful man, whom we all missed greatly when he left the Royal Ontario Museum twenty years ago. Significantly, Jim was our social conscience when we curators (ROMCA)
negotiated a very hard-won, but successful first contract with the ROM. I will miss & remember Jim, and Nancy and I send our love &condolences to Brenda, Jennifer, Gary & their families.

Love and prayers are with you all. I was fortunate enough to have Jim as my boss when I first started working at UNBC. Jim had such a calming caring loving energy around him. Jim not only was my boss but he became my friend. Condolences to all his family.
