We now that our little baby Lana took a shine to Jimmy and think the feeling may have been mutual. There's a certain truth in babies sensing such a kind and caring person - never has a truer word been spoken. Although we only spent a few days with Jimmy and his family whilst they were over in Scotland last year, it was a pleasure to be in the company of such a beautiful family, inside and out. We pray that you find solace in the comfort of knowing Jimmy is at peace and watching and protecting you all. All our love, Wendy, Steven, Kyle & Lana McDougall, Denny, Scotland

I went to D.P. Todd with Jim. Since grad, I ran into him many times at various places in PG. He was always with his family - the love he had for his family was very evident in his smile and the way he talked about them. I pray for peace and comfort for all those who loved him. God bless.

I will never forget the peace I saw on Vicki's and Jim's face at church at the beginning of May...Peace beyond understanding would be the best way to explain it. Jim, Vicki, Kyle, Jonathon, and Dylan you are all beautiful, wonderful children of God. May God keep you and bless you forever; whether here on Earth or in Heaven above. Sweet dreams, Jim. Love and God Bless,

Jim was one of my first friends when I moved to prince george in 1983. He was always quick with the joke and the smile. everyone liked him and he was great at impressions. Everyone will remember his Ed Grimley at a halloween dance at DP Todd. He and Andrew Dawson were the talented and well adjusted ones. My sympathies to Vicki and the kids. Thanks for coming Jimmy. Rest in Peace my friend.

I was graced with knowing Jim as one of my Drama students. His easy manner, quick laughter and even quicker wit endeared him to everyone. When I would see him after he had graduated, it was as if no time had passed. Knowing Jim enriched my life and I am thankful that I knew him.

I am so incredibly sorry to hear of Jimmy's passing. I have fond memories of our time together as small children playing together and the sleepovers we had at one anothers place. Even though I have not seen him since my wedding day years past, I will always remember the kind, loving and funny guy he grew to be. Jimmy, I will always remember that wonderful smile that brightened every room you ever entered. Much love buddy. My deepest sympathy to his wife and boys. To Tom, Ann, and Heather........all my love and the biggest hug ever.
