Joanne Louise Scofield (August 6, 1959 - January 3, 2014) After a courageous 8 year battle, cancer took our sweet AJ. She was a fighter to the very end and passed peacefully in her sleep. She will be lovingly remembered by her mom Betty Scofield, her sister Jean Scofield, her brother and sister Justin and Tonia Scofield, her nephews Tyler Scofield and Troy Lorenz, her nieces Celinea and Annie Scofield, her great nieces Isabelle and Teagan Lorenz, her great nephew Bruxly Scofield, and her best friends Rae-Ann Emery and Michelle Taylor. We would like to give a special thanks to the Prince George Regional Hospital. The nursing staff was truly amazing. To Rae-Ann and Michelle, for always being there for our AJ. She was so lucky to have you both. Also, to all her friends and family who came to spend time with her during her last days. We know it meant so much to her. There will be no service, by request, but there will be a tea in her memory on Saturday January 11 from 1-3pm at 6129 Narinder Pl. In lieu of flowers we will be accepting donations on her behalf for the Hospice House. As sad as it is to say goodbye, we know that she is at peace now, pain free with her dad (Philip), and we are so grateful for that. AJ will be forever in our hearts and her kind, loving, selfless and beautiful soul will remain an inspiration to us all.
