John Bozoki Obituary
It is with great sadness that we share the passing of John who left us on Thursday, January 3, 2019, at the age of 81 years. He leaves behind his wife, Violet, who he shared 57 years together. He also leaves behind his three children - Michael (Anne), John, and Vanessa (Randy); and his five grandchildren, Jordan (Ally), Alexandria, Dalainey, John-Michael (Bailey), and Dominique (Eli). He was predeceased by his parents, Sandor and Regina Bozoki of Szeged, Hungary, and his two grandchildren, Ashley and Tristan.
John left his home in Szeged in 1956 and arrived in Quebec in 1957. He made his way across the country, working various jobs until he arrived in Prince George where he met his wife. He worked many years at the Shelley Sawmill and then became a roofer which he worked until he retired. Although he left his entire family in Hungary, he became a part of the Lheidli T'enneh community and more importantly a part of the Seymour family. He is now with his father-in-law, Allen Seymour, and his brothers-in-law, Richard, Ron, and Roy, who he deeply loved and respected.
There will be a Celebration of Life for John on Friday, January 11, 2019, at 1:00 p.m. at the Uda Dune Baiyoh (House of Ancestors) Hall located at 355 Vancouver Street, Prince George. The family invites those who wish to remember John and celebrate his life and share in a meal provided by the family.
