May 13, 1933 - January 4, 2013
It has been 10 years since our beloved husband/father/grandfather went home to his Heavenly Father. Although we miss him tremendously, we do "not grieve as others who have no hope" for we know we will
see him again.
Thank you, dearest Lance, for the legacy of faith you left us.

Dr. Lance Morgan was the officiant at my son's celebration of life, held July 20th, 2001.
He made a sad day bright; he solicited laughter & humor, on a day normally filled with tears.
He spent time with us getting to know the person my son was.
He was a brilliant, kind man.
I'm sure he is so missed my many.

Reverend Morgan married my parents in December 23, 1967. He called my mom a peach and my dad a pear and he pronounced them fruit salad.
He helped us bury my mom on September 20, 1997. His presence on that sunny day by a sparkling Willow River added his own unique and indistinguishable light.
A beautiful and adorable man we were blessed to have encountered.

And hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.
Dr. Morgan preached the hope in Jesus Christ.
