Larry DORISH Obituary
September 10, 1948 - January 16, 2024
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Larry Dorish, who passed away peacefully at the age of 75. If he had to pick his time and place for passing, he would have picked a warm tropical beach, and so we know that he is at peace.
Larry is survived by his children, his son, Andrew (Melissa), daughter, Jamie Lynn (Jon) and five grandchildren, Mia, Liam, Lynden, Harley and Ryker. His brothers Douglas, Gordon (Sandra) and David. Larry is predeceased by his parents, Lloyd and Rose Dorish.
Larry loved a good meal, a nice glass of wine and hanging out with family and friends. He loved his days on the golf course, always played a better game at the clubhouse, and loved to play hockey, a member of "The Brewsky's" old-timer team for many years.
He found success in business with the Dorish clan running Flowerland for many years until his retirement.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Meals on Wheels.
A celebration of his life will be announced at a later date.

I was very sad to learn about Larry's passing. My condolences to the family and friends.
Larry and I worked together for a number of years in the floral industry. He took great pride in his job as cruise ship coordinator and he looked after the ships perfectly, making sure they got the very best flowers and plants.
He will be missed by myself and his former colleagues at Richmond Wholesale and United Floral.

My condolences to the family and all who had the pleasure of knowing Larry. I had the pleasure of working for the family has a teen. Later I got the pleasure of playing hockey with the boys and winning a championship. Also shared a few rounds of golf with Larry and lots of laughs. You will be missed my friend
