Don't know if i really believe in God anymore, but i beg to be wrong in regards to that and beg even more for You to be in God's loving embrace for time eternal. Be at peace beautiful, You have so many thinking of, and pray for, You, Your Family and All Other Loved Ones as well.

Hello Lorean,
I read your story and feel so sad about what happened. It is hard to believe something like this could happen to anyone, let alone someone like you.
I think there are many here who would do anything to bring you back and even though I am a complete stranger, I would too.
I feel so sad for you, for your dad, and even though I don't really have any religious beliefs, for you I hope I am wrong and that you are happily in another world waiting to be reunited with your loved ones.

Dear Loren, I did not know you before, but I do feel now I do. I learned as I met with your Dad how much he Loves You. How much your Dad keeps your memory alive in so many different ways.
Through your Dad I got to know how precious a girl you are.

Loren it's so strange to think that you aren't here. Years later it is still hard to believe that something like this could have happened to you. Every now and then I remember silly little things... like when our 1st grade substitute teacher told you to take off your sunglasses when we came in after reses. She didn't know that you had fancy lenses that changed in sunlight, until the whole class started up telling she was wrong. I remember the day you and me stayed in at lunch and ripped up our erasers into tiny bits, which we got in trouble for later on. My favourite memory is probably when I went over to your house and the whole time I was there your little sister kept taking my stuffed bear and hiding it, we spent the entire time hunting for it again and again.. We never did find it that last time did we.

I never had the pleasure of knowing Loren and although it has been many years since I have lived in Fraser Lake, when you are from a small community you are always connected to it and the families within. I feel that I grew up with the Leslie family – our families spent much time together. This tragedy has resonated across the country. In times like this we wonder how can we get through this tragic journey, somehow the Lord our God gives us that comfort, that strength to keep on keeping on.
