February 4, 2023

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Maureen. She will be remembered in the restaurant industry as a server for many years around Prince George.
We would like to thank Dr. Schocking and his team for their care and concern, also the nurses at University Hospital of Northern B.C. who took care of her.
Predeceased by father & mother Lud and Bertha. She leaves behind 2 brothers Tony (Ellie) and Ken (Maryann), uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.
There will be no service by request.

Rest in peace.

Maureen may you rest in peace. Some might know who i am...my names Corey Hart...son of Rick Hart....she was my step mom for most of my childhood and was always so kind and loving...dad passed in 1998 and I tried reaching out but couldn't find you. I'm so sorry to hear of this tragic loss...you were such an amazing human being inside and out. Love Corey.

Maureen worked for us at McCloud 9 Eatery for many years as a server. Maureen was always cheerful and was like the Energy Bunny, full of humor, worked hard and was loyal to her customers. Maureen had health issues but that never slowed her down for long. Many will remember her working at the Husky Restaurant for years, customers went there to see her and get their laugh for the day. Sending thoughs and prayers, May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
