Merdo Bosiak Obituary

MERDO BOSIAK April 20, 1927 - January 21, 2016 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Merdo Bosiak at the Rotary Hospice House in Prince George, BC. Merdo believed in working hard and never being idle. In retirement, Merdo followed his heart and started breeding purebred Quarter horses and Red Angus cattle. Merdo continued his passion for breeding Angus cattle into his 89th year and enjoyed socializing with family and friends in and out of the cattle business. Merdo was predeceased by Mary, his loving wife of 62 years, his parents William & Mary Bosiak (nee Smelski), sisters Teenie Michaluk, Francis Gaj, Matilda (Mattie) Bars, brothers Peter (Carl), Harry & John (Jack) Bosiak. Left to treasure Merdo's memory are his children Janet Fedorchuk (Wayne), Gordon Bosiak (Anna) & Karen Ward (Chris), & grandchildren Ryan, Lisa, Madeline, Samantha, David & Nicholas. Surviving Merdo is his brother, Walter Bosiak, & numerous nieces, nephews & extended family. A special thank you to all family and friends for their love and support during this difficult time. A private family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Donations may be made in Merdo's memory to the Prince George Rotary Hospice Society or to a charity of one's choice.
