I was blessed to have Peter as my brother. Fond memories to cherish of our childhood years growing up in Cumberland with long days spent at Miracle Beach and Comox Lake and our visits after in both Prince George and Victoria. Peter was a strong, reliable and fiercely loyal person. He was taken far too soon and will be sadly missed.

I will miss my Uncle Pete greatly. The childhood memories of visiting Prince George to all of the visits he made to Victoria and the island. He was an incredibly hardworking, competitive person who had an encyclopedic knowledge of sports and statistics. The " touch football" game on the front lawn of my Uncle Dave's house that quickly escalated to trash talking and physical play is one of my favorite memories of my Uncle Pete. He will always be remembered for his kindness, passion along with his indomitable spirit.

He was a wonderful man who will be missed by many people. He would do anything for his family and adored his grandchildren so much. I wish he could have spent more time with his grandchildren and he went too soon. I love you and miss you.

I knew Peter well over many years in our home town of Cumberland. Often, we would play sports in the 'Top Field', usually football. He was a smart man. His knowledge of stats in different sports was stellar. He was a good football player because of his solid frame.

The last time I saw Peter was in Prince George. We sat and reminisced about our days in Cumberland, and chuckled about the time he caught a 'long bomb' football, only to turn and run straight into the goal post! Peter got right up as if nothing had hit him, such was his physical and character strength.

My deepest condolences go out to his family: his children and wife, his brother and sisters, his mother. He was a good man, and a good friend over many years.
