DEMMAN, Robert C. May 20, 1939 Dec 10, 2013 It is with deep sorrow that the family of Bob Demman announces his passing on December 10, 2013 following a valiant fight to stay with us. He was surrounded by his loving wife of 56 years Leona, and his daughters Terry (Gord), Kim (Dave), and Nicole (Pat). Leaving a sister, Lynne, and brother and sister-in law Bill and Shirley. The joy of his life were his grandchildren: Rob (Laura), Randy (Sydney), Drew (Krysta), Bree-Anna, Hayden, and Isla; great granddaughter Camryn, and imminently expected great grandson Darryl, as well as special "daughter by love" Michelle (Kirk) and Taylor-Lee. There are many wonderful cousins, nieces and nephews. Bob was predeceased by his parents Clifford and Dorothy, and his sister Nancy. The young members of the family loved to go downstairs with Papa and watch the trains go around and around in his model railroad display. Another enjoyment of Bob's was to hang out at Tim Hortons with buddies like Bill, Alex, and Saraan. A short service will be held starting at 12:00 Saturday January 4, 2014 at the Sandman Signature Hotel, 2990 Recreation Place, to be followed immediately by a Celebration of Bob's Life at the same location.
