Sharon Jarosch Obituary

Sharon Louise Jarosch
(neé Nundal)

1944-2023

My dear wife, and wonderful companion throughout my life, Sharon Louise Nundal, died on July 5, 2023, at the Spring Valley Care Center, in Kelowna. Sharon was born on February 25, 1944, at the Royal Columbian Hospital in New Westminster, and was raised in Langley, BC.
She is survived by her husband Konrad, her two sons, René Jarosch, her daughter-in-law Ariane, grand stepsons Felix and Zephyr and their siblings of Prince George, BC, and Kai Jarosch, her daughter-in-law Judith, and her granddaughter Ada of Corning, NY. She was predeceased by her grandson Marcus.
On behalf of myself and my family, I extend thanks and heartfelt gratitude to the staff of the Spring Valley Care Center for all the care and compassion shown to Sharon over the past two and a half years.
There will be no funeral service by request. In lieu of flowers, a donation in Sharon's name can be made to the Alzheimer Society of British Columbia.

Over the years Mum came out to see us, first in London Ontario, then in Bexley Ohio, then in Abingdon UK, and finally in Corning NY. She came out to Ohio in April 2008 when Marcus had his back surgery at Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus. For this she made him a quilt for his hospital bed, it was the talk of the ward and, to this day, still keeps us warm during naps. As you can see Marcus really loved his Oma.

Geographical distance made getting together a very rare event. In 2017 Sharon and Conrad brought Ada and Kai up to Prince George to visit Rene, Ariane, Felix, and Zephyr. The group minus the photographer (Kai) enjoying a meal at a Chinese restaurant in PG. August 2017 when the smoke was so thick you could cut it with a knife.
