My sincere condolences to all of the family. Ute spoke often of her children and grandchildren. We always had good laughs and was always giving me wonderful advise. I will miss her smiling face and great sense of humour.

My condolences to the family. Ute showed her borzoi at some of our local dog shows and we would chat about our canine friends. She was such a kind and talented woman.

Dearest Nicole,Kevin,and Stephanie,
The past 11 days have been a maze of emotions and memories. I will miss your mom more Han words can possibly express.
I probably knew her longer than any one of her friends in Calgary. We met at work and became friends immediately. We were both arts and crafty people which cemented the bond.
I remember the day she became a Canadian Citizen. I believe that Dave and I sent her flowers with a message that Canada was very lucky to have her.
We shared many exciting and interesting times together over a period of 45 years. We had Christmas dinners together, picnics and even times with your grandparents when they came from Germany. We enjoyed each other's company.
Perhaps the most notable adventure was the weeks we shared camping in The North West Territories. Some of our hilarious antics will be etched in my mind forever. Even though conditions were less than perfect we met each day with optimism and lots of laughter. You kids were young and probably Don 't remember all that much...but have heard your mom and I reminisce so many times that the stories are etched in your minds. I could tell you stories about those weeks that could go on for hours.
When Ute moved to Prince George it was sad but she loved it there. When ever we got together after that, regardless of how much time had passed we could just pick up where we left off as if we saw each other every day.
There is no need for me to tell you all that your Mom was simply said, a great lady and a very good friend.
So, dear ones,to you and your families I Send my sympathy,my love and my prayers that you will get through tomorrow and find joy in your memories in the months to follow.

My dear friend Ute,
We have gotten to become great friends over the years. I am so deeply saddened to hear you are gone. My heart goes out to your family and your beloved Eve. Till we meet for tea again my friend, I will think of you often and cherish our heart to heart chats.
