Wayne Roberts Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that our family announces the passing of Wayne Temple Roberts surrounded by family on November 21, 2023, in Kamloops, BC.
He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years Bonnie Roberts, nee Berg, his 5 wise and wonderful children Tami (Patrick), Tracy (Bruce), Dean (Katja), Kerry (Ashley), Kyle and eleven grandchildren. He is predeceased by his parents Ira and Doris Roberts.
Wayne was born in Charolettetown, PEI and grew up in Edmonton, AB where he enjoyed hanging out with friends and family and met and married the love of his life Bonnie. Growing up he developed a passion for outdoor adventures hunting, fishing and skiing. Anyone who knew him knew that the hunting clothes came out in September and if you were looking for him you had to head out to the bush.
The RCMP brought Wayne to BC where he served as a proud member for 30 years. With retirement came a return to school where he earned a Masters of Psychology from UNBC.
In his "free time" he was a proud fastball coach and Scout leader, where he developed many lifelong friends and mentored many youth who remain near and dear to our family.

Bonnie & family,
It is with great sadness to hear of Wayne's passing. Condolences to you and your family. I worked for and with Wayne in Quesnel and Prince George. We also spent a good deal of time in the woods during hunting season. He was a great friend.

So sad to hear of Waynes passing. Bonnie, Kerry and family I really enjoyed hunting with and having conversations with him. We'll see him on the other side! God keep you all as you grieve.

Wayne and I met in the late 70s. We reconnected in the mid 80s. We worked daily from 89 to 97 then reconnected in 2005 to 2007. He was a special individual who valued, family, community, friends and his career. Never forgotten. Paul S.
