John Lussier
March 1, 1946 - December 18, 2024
It is with unimaginable heartbreak and profound sadness for us to announce that John Joseph Gerard Lussier passed away with dignity on December 18, 2024 at the age of 78.
John (Johnny) was born on March 1st, 1946 in McLennan, AB and moved to Powell River when he was 6 years old. John mainly worked in construction for decades in Powell River until his retirement. Over his last 10 years he resided in Victoria, BC.
John is survived by his daughter Misty and grandson Sébastien, son Taylor (Kyra), ex-wife though friend Judie Boisvert, sister Lorraine Behan, sister-in-law Barb (Reg) plus nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Abel and Jeanne, brothers Daniel, Donald, Walter and Reginald, sister Joanne and nephew Leon.
It brings us a sense of relief and comfort in knowing that John left the world the way he wanted with MAID. We are so proud of him for advocating to have the final say and command his wishes be followed through.
To say we miss him terribly is an understatement!!

My sincere condolences to Johnny´s family. I remember him as "Jean" when he lived in Donnelly. Johnny´s Mom, aunt Poitou and my Mom Lucille were sisters.
It´s not easy to lose a loved one. May you find comfort knowing that he is at peace. Hold him dearly in your hearts.
