Larry Peters Obituary

LARRY EDWIN Peters January 28, 1954 - October 22, 2018 Our hearts are breaking as we announce the passing of our dearly loved brother and Jennifer's father. He was predeceased by his parents Eric Edwin Peters and Inez Yvonne Peters, and brother-in-law Grant Cunningham. Since his retirement from the mill, Larry liked to spend his time walking the beach with Lacey, fishing and growing his garden. He is survived by his daughter Jennifer and his four sisters: Judy (Glen), Bonnie, Debbie (Harvey) and Leslie (Darrell), plus many nephews, nieces, and their children. Mourning his loss are his amazing neighbours and friends who cared for his house, animals and yard. We would like to also thank the many nurses, his doctor and the wonderful care aides who looked after him during his months at Powell River General Hospital. Larry was a genuinely good guy, with a gentle soul. He was generous with his time and his things. A celebration of life will be held in the spring at his favourite place to walk Lacey: Gibsons Beach. Rest in peace, Larry. We'll love you forever.

So sorry to hear of the passing of Larry. Sabre and myself used to meet Larry every morning at Gibsons walking our dogs and sitting on the bench exchanging stories.
Sabre has been missing Lacy and even looks up the track for her now.
My sincere condolences to all the family and friends and I will certainly be at Gibsons for his ceremony of life.
