Lily Hoy Price

1930 - 2021

Well, my time has come to say farewell to all those who have touched and enriched my life upon this earth. I thank you. My journey on earth has ended and look forward to reuniting with my parents, Mr. & Mrs. C.D. Hoy; my siblings, Evelyn Sing, Ann Lore, Rose Reardon, Yvonne Wong, Star Chew, Benny Hoy, Jack Hoy and Irene Hoy. What a fun time it will be.

And to those I leave behind: my dearest husband Frank, who made all my dreams come true. My children: Tova Orr (Darrell), Kent Webster (Terri), Paris Webster (Sheila). My step-children: Lorrie Shaw (Garry), Steve Price (Michele). My sisters; May Sing, Lona Joe and Marline Liu, and my grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many friends. Do not grieve my departure. I've lived a wonderful life traveling the world, playing sports, writing, painting, dancing to my own tune and above all, having your support and love.

Yes, I'm on another journey. Where to? I don't know, but I have my traveler's cheques in hand. I hope I was a good mother, a good wife and good friend. As proof of my earthly existence I leave behind a trace of my existence- my book, my paintings and scribblings.

Lilly passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by love and family, on Tuesday, Feb 16th, 2021. As per her wishes, there will be no formal service. To honour her memory, please lend a helping hand to someone in need, as she had often done.
