Paul Bruce Mowatt
February 18, 1956 - December 23, 2022
It is with profound sadness that the family of Paul Mowatt announce his passing.
Paul will be sadly missed by his siblings Dale (Lisa), Carol (Dave) and Glenn (Kim), as well as his many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents June and Bruce Mowatt.
From an early age, Paul had a disability that heartbreakingly required professional care outside of his home. He had a great love of music, especially his favourite band, Pink Floyd. He also loved art, creating the most gorgeous paintings.
In years past Paul enjoyed visiting the Artaban Centre in Powell River, where he participated in an art program. Going for walks and car rides, especially to McDonalds or out for coffee, was a favourite pastime. Paul also loved sipping coffee on the ferry deck while travelling to Comox to visit his mom.
Paul's memory will live on in our hearts and through his paintings, which we cherish.
Thank you to all who helped in Paul's care for so many years and most recently to the staff of Nelson House for their compassion.
A celebration of life will be held for Paul on his birthday, February 18th.
