Stephen Gueth Obituary
Stephen Blaine Gueth
March 20, 1968 - October 7, 2024
Stephen passed peacefully at home on Monday, October 7, 2024. He will always be remembered by his humanitarian heart, witty sense of humour and his life mantra "Work like a Captain Play like a Pirate". Stephen was a dedicated Occupational Therapist at our qathet hospital for over 20 years. He also was a retired captain with the Malaspina Fire Department with 11 years of service.
Stephen is survived by his loving kindred spirit wife Krystaal ShaiWolf, his mother Gertrude and father Leslie Gueth in Cambridge, Ontario, and his brother Will (Billy) Gueth. Stephen was godfather to Nicolas; son of long time friend Greg Streppel. Stephen has a lifetime full of friends and colleagues that will miss him dearly. As Stephen embraced a simple taoist life philosophy he leaves us with his final treasure Shanti Shanti Shanti.

The loss of a person like Stephen will be felt by everyone. I was his friend from kindergarten to about grade nine when I moved away. I remember him as quiet, very kind and very smart. To Greg Streppel, you could not have chosen a better man for Godfather.

So sad. Stephen was a wonderful, compassionate human being. It was a pleasure to have met and worked with this kind man. Condolences to his family and friends.
