REEVES Ray Obituary

REEVES, Ryan Ray
June 9, 1980 to January 7, 2023

It is with deepest sadness we announce the loss of our beautiful son Ryan. Ryan was very close to his family especially his brother Miles and sister Vanessa. One of his greatest joys was playing and laughing with his niece Emrie, and nephews Landon and Leo. Ryan was a collector of tools (new and old), comic books and sports cards. He loved to go to car shows and hockey games. When there was a boxing match he would be at the bar to watch with Miles, Vanessa, his Dad, and friends. Ryan was passionate about BMX bikes and Mustang cars. Ryan's cousin and best friend JD talked everyday about their BMX finds. Ryan was a master glazier and very articulate about his work.

Ryan had a wonderful sense of humour
and a great contagious laugh.
Ryan loved to learn about everything.
Such a wonderful kind gentle soul,
rest in peace our precious boy,
in all of our hearts forever.

Ryan will be greatly missed by his mother Marlene Reeves, father Robin Reeves, brother Miles (Emrie and Leo) and sister Vanessa (Landon). Auntie Mary-Anne, Uncle Andy (cousins Jennifer and Stephen), Auntie Jo (cousins Michelle, Tyler, JD, Kady and Kelly), Uncle Brian (cousin Alex), and Uncle Kevin. Auntie Randi, Uncle Bob (cousins Jennifer, Courtney and Marlee), Auntie Ricki (cousin Zachary). As well as his second cousins, too many to mention, and all of his friends. Ryan was predeceased by his grandparents Nana and Baba; Dearie and Grandpa George Amesbury, and his great grandmother Grandma Mom. Also, his fur baby (Bella) who was his faithful companion for 15 years. Ryan loved all animals.

A memorial service will be held to honour Ryan on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at 1:00 pm, Richmond Funeral Home, 8420 Cambie Road, Richmond, B.C. Reception to follow at Funeral Home

Marlene, Miles and Vanessa, please know that my prayer with the strength of my faith accompanies you at this time. I still see Ryan in class with his sense of humor and his sensitive artistic nature. He was the one who came up with our Missioning logo of the year Let Light Live. May his gentle light forever live in our hearts.
