Amelia Metzger Obituary
Amelia Metzger (nee: Helm) passed away on Tuesday, Feb 6, 2018, in Linden, Alberta at age 95.
Born March 14, 1922, in Calgary, Alberta, she was the daughter of the late Johannes Helm and Katharina Elizabeth Helm (nee: Konshuh). She was predeceased by her husband Clarence (CG) Metzger in 1990 and her youngest grandson Ian Metzger in 2002.
She is survived by three sons: Monty (Lucille), Richard (Carole), Ronald (Wendy), and one daughter Pamela. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at Acme United Church on Wed Feb 14th at 2 PM, followed by a reception at Acme Hall. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to your favorite charity or to the Alzheimer Society of Alberta and the North West Territories, Administration Office, 10531 Kingsway Ave., Edmonton, Alberta, T5H 4K1, 1-866-950-5465, www.alzheimer.ab.ca.
