Alphonse SAUMIER
1923 – 2023
Alphonse Saumier of Sherbrooke passed away peacefully January 9, 2023 at CHUS Hôtel-Dieu Hospital in Sherbrooke at 99 years old, born to the late Alfred Saumier and Alma Pelletier.
He is survived by his wife Monique Nadeau, his children Alain (Diane), Marc (Hélène), Anne-Marie (Luc) and Michèle (Anthony); his grandchildren Melissa, Annie (Philippe), Marc-Antoine, Louis-Philippe (Ellie), Marylene (Jonathan), Maxime (Isabelle), Alexandre (Allie) and Charles (Mariann); his great-grandchildren Édouard, Alysse, Emma, Léo, Annabelle and Étienne. Mr. Saumier also leave nephews, nieces, friends and other members of his family.
Family and friends will be received at the Steve L. Elkas Funeral Home, 4230 Bertrand Fabi, Sherbrooke on Sunday, January 15 from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., followed by a funeral mass.
Special thanks for the care he received at the CHUS Hotel-Dieu.
