With heavy hearts, the family announces that Barb passed away peacefully at the Kemptville District Hospital while surrounded by loved ones on Monday morning, May 26, 2025; Barbara Elsie Bresee of Kemptville was in her 97th year.
Beloved wife of the late Gerald Earl Bresee (February 14, 2000). Dearly loved mother of Robert "Bob" (Judy), Ken, Valerie, Doug (Johanne), Beth (Adrian Brooks) and Linda (Bruce Dempsey). Forever loved and cherished by her 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Lois Flansbury (late Bernie), Annette Truax (late Andy), Olive Labossiere (late Guy), Suzie Grenier and Pat Grenier (Nancy Black). Predeceased by a brother Ron Grenier (Estelle), as well as 3 sisters Joan Meek (late Adam), Beatrice Grenier and Marie Fillier. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Daughter of the late Albert "Ab" and Elsie (nee White) Grenier.
Barb's final arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Pilon Family Funeral Home in Arnprior, Ontario where visitation will be held on Friday evening, May 30, from 6 to 8 p.m. and again on Saturday, morning, May 31, from 9 a.m. to 10:15. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in the Pilon Family Chapel on Saturday morning at 10:30. A reception will follow.
Interment will be held in Sutton, Quebec at a later date.
