Bradley Moore Obituary

Bradley MOORE
1946 - 2023

Bradley Walter Moore (77) from Richmond, Quebec passed away quietly at home on August 12, 2023, surrounded by his loving wife and family.
Professionally, Bradley was a teacher and guidance counsellor for 30+ years. Personally, he was a cherished husband, loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather and a friend to many. As a raconteur he left many a listener entertained by his arsenal of dirty jokes and limericks.
Bradley is survived by his wife Isabel (Philbrick) and four sons Christopher (Nadia), David (Melanie), James (Marie-Pier) and Robert (Cristina). He is also survived by his sister-in-law Nancy, along with his grandchildren Jeffrey, Hailey, Niko, Austin, Jeremy and Macey and great-grandchildren Miguel, Mia and Millie. Bradley will be missed by his brother Richard (Anna Maria) and several nephews and nieces. Also in mourning are special cousins Myra, Martha and Megan MacLean. Bradley was predeceased by his loving sister Lorraine and brothers-in-law Dale and Francis.
Aside from his love for family and visiting with friends, Bradley was an avid reader, history buff, sports fan, geography nut, card shark, snow bird and an accomplished builder of wooden decks.
Bradley's family will respect his wishes for no funeral services. In lieu of flowers, please consider reciting a limerick to a loved one and dedicating it to Bradley. Make them laugh.
There once was a father named Bradley
Who lived his life so fully and radly
But he was taken too soon
To walk the stars and the moon
And his whole family will miss him real badly.

Dear Isabel,
Our deep-felt condolences to you and your family at the loss of your wonderful husband Brad. I remember many conversations with him at Galt, and a few times at your home. And together you raised 4 boys, and you continue to have a role in the lives now of so many young ones. We now live in Wakefield qc, not too far from Ottawa, so don't get to Lennoxville too often. We pray that you will find some comfort and peace, in spite of this huge loss.
With our love, Jim and Ursula Reynolds

"There once was a man named Brad,
Whose counsel in jokes made us glad.
A friend and colleague at school,
'Round the staff room he would fool.
Too hard now not to feel sad."

May we offer our sincere condolences to Isabel and family.

Nelson and Julie Gonyer.
