Charles Grayden PATTERSON
1939 – 2025
It is with much sadness that we announce the death of Charles on August 10, 2025, at the Cornwall Hospital, after a lengthy illness.
He was the husband of Winona Ticehurst for 63 years. Father of Corlena (Jeff) and Julia. Grandfather of Chloe (Bashar), late Katya, Sierra, Nicholas and Angelina. Great-grandfather to Emma Rose and Malik.
He was the youngest of five sons of Alvah Patterson and Maria (Mullin). He was the brother of the late Angus (Velda), late Evan (late Mary), late Gordon (late June), late Ottis (late Elvera).
He is survived by his sisters Glenda (Kenneth Huff) and Greta (Robert Nish). Also, brother-in-law to the Ticehurst family: Rupert (Brenda), late George, Alden (Ann), Wayne (Mary), Gwendolyn (Rod MacLeod). He was the loving uncle to many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life, Avonmore Community Centre, August 28, 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Burial on Saturday, August 30, 2025, 11 a.m., at Mount Forest Cemetery, 358 Court St., Coaticook. Reception to follow at St. Paul's United Church, 211 Pine St., Magog.
Donations may be made to the Lampe Foundation, 1760 ch. D'Ayer's Cliff, Sainte Catherine de Hatley, QC, J0B 1W0, or to the Charity of Your Choice.
