Clifton George GAYLOR
1948 - 2026
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at the age of 78, the son of the late Elgar and late Irene (Johnson) Gaylor.
He leaves to mourn his loving wife of 54 years Maureen (Ewens) Gaylor; two sons Brent (Christine) and Kevin (Dawn); cherished grandchildren Keegan, Maev, Madeline and Emilie; brother and sisters Reid (Diane), Brenda (Danny) and Wendy (Richard); loving Aunt Bessie Gaylor Rodrigue; nieces Paula, Amanda, Karen; and his cousin Neil.
Cliff is remembered by all he did during his life, he was a coach for the Children's Ball Team, a fireman for the Austin Fire Department, member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #99 in Cowansville, President of the South Bolton Cemetery Company, and Director of the Bolton Valley Fishing Game Club.
He worked for many years for Clairol Canada/Knowlton Packaging. He played on many softball teams throughout his life, and, besides his family, he adored anything that had to do with nature and the outdoors.
He will be greatly missed by his many friends and neighbours and his memory will live on in all of our hearts.
The funeral will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to South Bolton Cemetery Company, care of Candy Coates, 941 Rte. Bolton Pass, Bolton Est, QC, J0E 1G0, will be greatly appreciated.
