Fredrick Cartwright Obituary
Fredrick E. "George" Cartwright passed away in Drummondville on July 10, 2017, at the age of 92. Husband of Rose-Helene Ritchotte of Drummondville.
He worked 43 years for the Canadian Celanese as an engineer. A veteran of World War 2, he served during the War from November 1942 until January 1946. After he served 18 years with the 46th Field Artillery Regiment (M) Drummondville, which was replaced in 1968 by the 6th Royal Battalion 22nd Regiment and he also served 5 years with the Canadian Army Cadet Corps.
The cremation and arrangements entrusted to Yves Houle Funeral home and Crematorium. Visitation will be held at the Yves Houle Funeral home in Drummondville, on Friday, July 28, 2017 from 7 p.m. until 10 p.m. and Saturday, July 29, 2017 from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. followed by the funeral service at 4:30 p.m. at the Saint-George Church.
He leaves to mourn; his wife Rose-Helene Ritchotte, his children; Richard (Aline Langlois), Joan (Gene Bickford), Peter (Ginette Lapris), Denis (Lucie Lampron), his grand-children; Kevin, Kim, Annemarie, Jason, Suzy, Vicky, Stacy, Marjorie, Alexis, and Audrey, his great-grand-children, his sister-in-law Pauline Milette, his nephews and nieces and many other family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to a charitable organization of your choice in his memory would be appreciated.
