Gilles DECELLES
1947 - 2025
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Gilles Decelles at the CHUS-Fleurimont in Sherbrooke on May 13, 2025, at the age of 78.
He will be lovingly missed by his wife Lucie Robitaille; his children Lisa Marie (Louis Boulerice), the late Alexandre, Frédérique (Félix Arpin), Maxime Poirier (Stéphanie Perrault), Sophie Poirier; his grandchildren Alexa St-Pierre (Jean-Philippe Beaulieu), Elisabeth St-Pierre (Samuel Sénécal), Charlie Boulerice, Raphaëlle Poirier, Émile Poirier; his brothers and sisters the late Jeanne D'Arc Decelles, Madeleine Decelles (Claude Viens), Paul Decelles (Ghyslaine Lataille), Carol Decelles (Jean-Claude Blanchard), Michel Decelles (Nancy Bates), Daniel Decelles (Annie Messier); he will also be missed by many nephews, nieces, other relatives, friends and colleagues.
The family would like to thank all the medical and support personnel at the Intensive and Coronary Care Units at the CHUS-Fleurimont for their kind and comforting professional care.
Cremation was held in Granby at Les Jardins Funéraires Bessette.
A tribute ceremony will be held at the Saint-François-Xavier Church in Bromont at 3 p.m. on Friday, May 30, 2025.
Following the ceremony, you are welcome to attend a festive celebration at the family farm from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. We ask that you please confirm your presence for this portion by using the following link: https://forms.gle/RKEf9hLBfTEgMhKe8target=. Please confirm by May 26, 2025.
