Gladys Naylor BRUUN
1937 - 2025

Passed away peacefully at the CHUS-Hotel Dieu, Sherbrooke, QC, on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, at the age of 88. Gladys Naylor Bruun was the wife of the late John 'Jack' Bruun and the daughter of the late Eugene Naylor and the late Cecilia Grant, living in Sherbrooke, originally from Compton, QC.
Mrs. Naylor Bruun was the loving mother of Stephen (Josée Boisvert) and the late John (Mary Sandri); dear sister of the late Eugene Naylor (the late Jean Suitor), the late Nora Naylor (the late Léonidas Beaudoin), the late Mary St-Laurent (the late Marc St-Laurent); sister-in-law to Bill Bruun (Raymonde Bourassa) and the late Laurits Bruun (Evelyne Wilkins). Mrs. Naylor Bruun also leaves to mourn her good friend Michelle Lavoie, as well as many nephews, nieces, other friends and relatives.
Family and friends will meet at the Steve L. Elkas Complex, 4230 Bertrand-Fabi, Sherbrooke, QC, on Friday, March 14, 2025, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and on Saturday, March 15, 2025, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. The funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. in the funeral home chapel followed by the burial at the Compton Cemetery at a later date.
The family would like to thank all the personnel of the CHUS-Hotel Dieu (6th floor - Palliative Care Unit) and CHUS-Fleurimont (Oncology Unit) for the kind and professional care given to Mrs. Naylor Bruun.
