1929 – 2024
It is with great sadness I announce the passing of my dear Mother, Grace Armstrong, on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at the CHUS Fleurimont. She was surrounded by family.
Proudly born in Magog on March 16, 1929, the daughter of the late Florence and Willis Whittier.
She leaves to mourn myself, her beloved son Steven (Chantal), brother Alfred (Gertrude Jean), and many loving nieces, nephews and friends. Her passing will reunite her with her husband Mac, sisters Alice, Annie, Carol and her brother George.
She was sweet, kind-hearted and truly enjoyed life. Always looking forward to the next cruise. Family was important to her, and we had a very special relationship. She had a devotion and love that will always be remembered.
Special thank you to the caring staff at Grace Village that made her short stay an enjoyable one.
A graveside service will take place on Saturday, October 19 at Malvern Cemetery at 11:30 a.m.

I was 4 in the mid 60s when I lived on Baker street & I still remember your mother & father very well, I seem to recall her trademark jet black hair pulled back & kept up very elegantly. My goodness, could I have been admiring your mother at such a young age!?! I moved to Valleyfield in kindergarten but moved back to Huntingville not too long after. You & your parents came out & thats probably the last time we had a visit. Sounds like your mother enjoyed life fully & many great memories to remember her by.
