Gwendolyn Macleod Obituary
Gwendolyn (Ticehurst) MACLEOD
September 4, 1942 – September 10, 2025
She went home to be with her Lord after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's. Beloved wife of 62 years of Roderick Macleod.
She leaves her 2 sons Malcolm (Kelly) and Elliott (Kimberley), 5 grandchildren Aaron (Jane), Caleb, Joshua (Ellysha), Isla and Teagan. As well as her siblings Rupert (Brenda), the late George (Rosemary), Alden (Ann), Wayne (Mary), Winona (the late Charlie), as well as many nieces and nephews.
Gwen spent the last year and a half of her life in the memory care unit at Manoir Stanstead where they treated her like family and indulged her love of ice cream and chocolate. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thank you to each caregiver there who took such loving care of her.
A burial service will be held on September 27, 2025 at Cherry River Cemetery where her ashes will be laid to rest, followed by a gathering of family and friends at Beebe Camp (19 Pine St., Stanstead, QC).
