Howard Ernest DEWING
Howard passed away December 11, 2025, at the CHUS in Sherbrooke, at the age of 97. He was the son of the late Ernest Dewing and Winnifred Shadbolt, and grew up in Huntingville, QC.
He was predeceased by his wife Joyce Sarrasin (1989) and younger son Murray (2023).
He is survived by his older son Larry (Lynne) of Ottawa, ON; Murray's wife Gloria Peltier; his grandchildren Greg, Sandra, Patrick and Andrew of Manitoulin Island, ON; seven great-grandchildren; his sister Margaret (late Rolland Campbell) of Huntingville; and his partner and friend Margaret Blake of Compton, QC.
As per Howard's wishes, cremation was held and there will be no visitation or service.
Arrangements entrusted to Cass Funeral Home, Lennoxville, QC.
Donation to your favourite charity would be appreciated by the family.
