Hugh Daniel CAMBER
January 10, 1935 - April 10, 2022
It is with very heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Hugh Camber, a very dear father and grandfather, at La Providence Hospital, Magog, in his 88th year.
Husband to the late Grace (Mitchell) Camber. Son of the late Daniel Camber and Doris (Woodward) Camber. Predeceased by brothers Lesley, Malcolm and Donald. Survived by his only sister Phyllis (Camber) Courtemanche.
Loving father to Cecil (Suzi), Bill (Karen), Allan (Anick) and Charles (Lyne). Awesome "grandpa" to Dylan, Jack, Mia, Evan, Mayson, Casey, Aaron and Maika.
Hugh was also stepfather to Susan Gautrey (George), Sharon Gautrey (Jean), Frederick Gautrey, Lorne Gautrey (Jacinthe), Barry Gautrey, and Jeffrey Gautrey (Lori).
He will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and close friends.
The family wishes to extend special thanks to Grace Village Home and Les Jardins de Magog Residence for being so caring as well as the medical staff of the 6th floor and the palliative care unit at La Providence Hospital, Magog during his final days.
May you rest in peace, Dad ("Grampa") as you make your final journey to total comfort.
Due to current public health restrictions, a private graveside service will be held at a later date.
