Joan POWERS ROY
1943 – 2026
At the Magog Hospital, on February 17, 2026, Mrs. Joan Powers passed away at the age of 82. She was the wife of Luc Roy and the daughter of the late Helen Rita Catchpaw and the late Douglas William Powers.
She leaves to mourn her children Lisa (Christian), Tom (Lee), the late Gary, and Eric (Crystal); her grandchildren Jessy (Amélie), Emilie (René), Nico (Océane), Brittany (Sam), Brandon, Brianna, Noah, Halie (Ethan), Shyann, Mylaine (Mathieu), Averi, and Mavis; her great-grandchildren Kaleesi, Micah, Xavier, and Mavrick; her brother the late Stevens (Ulga), her brother-in-law Roger (Gisèle) and her sister-in-law Mariette (the late Gaston). She also leaves to mourn her nephews, nieces, other relatives, and friends.
According to Mrs. Powers' wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service.
The ashes will be buried at Cherry River Cemetery at a later date, in a private ceremony.
