John Décarie Obituary
He leaves to mourn his children John (Diane) and their children Julie and Francis, Louise (Stuart) and their son Nicholas, Robert (Rhonda) and their children Amelia, Madeleine and Benjamin; his brother Pierre Décarie (Diane) and many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nephews and nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Friends may visit with the family at Complexe Steve L. Elkas, 4230 Bertrand-Fabi, Sherbrooke QC, J1G 1K4, on Saturday, November 17, 2018 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. A memorial service will follow in the chapel. A light lunch will be served afterwards.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
The family would like to thank the staff of the various departments at CHUS Hôtel-Dieu for the excellent care given to Mr. Décarie.

Our sincere condolences to the family. He was the perfect doctor, so considerate and kind with such a nice bedside manner. He delivered our two youngest children at Sherbrooke Hospital 45 years ago.

My condolences to the whole family, I knew Dr. John as a student nurse & as a patient at the Sherbrooke Hospital. A few years later, my Mom, Marie McDevitt worked for him in his office.....she was very fond of your Mom, and you as youngsters.....Please accept my condolences.
