Condolences to Keith's family on his passing. A wonderful man who could build anything along with his children, who took the time to get to know my children even after the work was done! He will be missed but remembered with great fondness . . .

My deepest condolences to Joanne and the family. I was so sorry to hear of Keith´s passing. I have so many fond memories of him. He was the kind of man who would pack two lunches for work because he would share half his lunch with a little girl who would follow him around. I still remember all the times we went to breakfast and snowmobiling afterwards with the kids. He will be missed.

My very deepest sympathies to all the family. I was always so happy to see Mr and Mrs Cheal dancing on the floor as Night Train and I played country music at the Hut back several years ago. They just glided around the floor in perfect unison. So sorry to hear this news.

Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to the Cheal family. We met Mr. And Mrs. Cheal at Musicfest many years ago. I will always remember them dancing and smiling as my family played music. As they looked at each other I saw love. Mr. Cheal will be so very missed.

We may have left the Townships years ago but Art and Keith were a part of our lives doing many projects on our home in North Hatley. They were 1st class workers and fine gentlemen. I will never forget Keith's smile, laughter and chuckles. Having lost my Richard last Oct., we have lost another good man... My deepest sympathies to Joanne and family.

Today, I learned about a term called a `glimmer´.
Glimmers are those moments in your life that make you feel joy, happiness, peace, or gratitude.
I have a `glimmer´, when I think about my Uncle Keith.
I´m thinking that he is maybe sitting around a table with Aunt Mary , Richard, and my Dad. Oh the stories & laughter they will share.

To all of the Cheal family, my sincere sympathies at the passing of Keith. I remember him doing carpentry jobs along with Arthur at my parents' house and flower shop. They were both such hard and conscientious workers. Whatever they built was built well.

I am so lucky to call myself a Cheal, and part of the reason is due to my grandad. My grandad is such a strong and amazing person, and I greatly admire his work-ethic and kindhearted nature. We actually shared the same birthday, and I will miss calling every year to wish one another a happy birthday. I will miss our conversations and visits, and I wish we could have spent more time together. Thank you for being apart of my life, and I will miss you immensely.

Sending my deepest condolences to Joanna and the Cheal family at this difficult time. I would like to share with you, a beautiful memory that made Keith laugh out loud. . When our son, Jared was about three, Keith and Arthur were working on the Gillam house next door. Jared would visit them every day and they would give him nails, hammer, etc to keep him busy. Keith and Arthur kept their lunch pails on the front porch. One day, Jared sat down beside Keith's and decided to help himself. When Keith discovered his lunch was mostly eaten, he laughed so hard I am sure they heard him downtown. Needless to say, I made him a replacement the next day. Know that you are all in our prayers and that he was loved and respected in our community.

So many memories with grandad... riding on the back of the tractor with him at the old house, painting his toenails red, and watching him dump a generous amount of sugar in his tea. Needless to say he was loved. He was an extraordinary figure in my life and I´m extremely sad to see him go. In my eyes he has established what it means to be a Cheal.
