Lloyd (Elwin) OAKLEY
December 30, 1937 - February 27, 2021
It is with great sadness and broken hearts that we announce the passing of Lloyd Oakley on February 27, 2021, at the age of 83. Loving husband of the late Rose (Tozer) Oakley.
He will be sadly missed by his loving children Charles (Sheila McCourt), Donna (Bob Beson); his cherished grandchildren Robert (Gillian Graham), Stephanie (Marc Normandin) and his great-grandson Aydan whom he adored.
Lloyd also leaves to mourn his brothers and sisters Muriel (late Murton Webb), Stella (late George Clarkson), Clifford (Sandra Proulx), John, Kim (Scott Brix) and was predeceased by his brothers Donald (Susie Rodgers), Howard, William, and sister Nancy (late Leonard Barlow). He will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
A celebration of Lloyd's life will be held on July 30 at St. Andrew's Church, Melbourne at 1:30, followed by the interment at St. Andrew's Cemetery. The family will receive condolences one hour prior to the service at the Church, from 12:30-1:30.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Kidney Foundation of Canada would be greatly appreciated.
A special thank you to the doctors and nurses of the 4th floor of the CHUS Fleurimont for the care and kindness provided to Lloyd.
