Marc Pelletier Obituary

Marc Coote PELLETIER
1944 - 2025

Marc Coote Pelletier passed away suddenly at his home in Brome Lake on October 7, 2025, at the age of 81.
He is survived by his close friend Lisa Merovitz, his sons Karl and Martin (Alli Mahon), and their mother Barbara Magner; his grandchildren Alex (Samantha), Madison and Holden. He also leaves to mourn his brother late René (Dora Koop), his sisters Nina (Marc Tourigny) and Lucie (Pierre Tanguay); his nephews and nieces Nadia (David Walsh), Marie-Esther (Guy Bérard), Simon, Judith (Nicholas Pike), Victoria, and Nicole; his great-nephews and nieces, cousins, and many precious friends.
A great traveler, athlete, and man of action, Marc was driven by the values of sharing, mutual aid, and solidarity, developed through his marketing work with entrepreneurs here and abroad. He was particularly fond of Latin America. Curious about everything, he loved sharing his knowledge, encouraging encounters, discussions, and participation in community life. His adopted community of Brome Lake was dear to him, and he was committed to contributing to the preservation and development of its environment.
The family will receive condolences at the Hotel Lac-Brome (572 Lakeside Road, Foster) starting at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 15, 2025. A farewell ceremony will follow at 3 p.m.
As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the community organization SERY (Regional Ethnic Solidarity of Yamaska) via their website.
