I will always remember Mary as one of the most beautiful, kind and genuine women I have known. Although I regret how time passed and I did not stay connected with her, I will cherish the memories I have of her and smile as I recall them!

Dear Mary,
This will be my last letter to you though I will still be your silent correspondent forever. Our friendship was face to face mainly in our early years of raising children, but our letters kept us friends for many subsequent decades. Thank you for them .... the things we shared about books we read and about life (and facing death). Now it's a dream, only a dream and you will always be in mine.
