Melanie Bockus Obituary

Melanie BOCKUS 
1976 - 2024

Passed away peacefully in Sherbrooke on December 3, 2024, at the age of 48, surrounded by her family, after a long battle. The daughter of Charles Ian Bockus (Johanne Brouillette), the late Patricia Ann Brown, and sister of Joshua Bockus and Sarah Bockus.
She leaves to mourn her devoted, supportive and loving daughters Courtney Foster (Adam Grubb) and Makayla Foster (Branden Picken); her beloved grandchildren Jaxson and Brinnley; her beloved best friends Alita, Annie, Tricia, Tom and Robin; as well as close loved ones Marcey, Sandra and Jan. She also leaves behind many great friends, and loving family members that she adored profoundly. 
Arrangements entrusted to Complexe funéraire BROME-MISSISQUOI, 215 rue de la Rivière, Bedford, QC, J0J 1A0, 450-248-2911, complexebm.com. As per Melanie's wishes, the family will be holding a celebration of life at a later date, more details to follow.
The family would like to thank all the staff, nurses and doctors of the CHUS Fleurimont Hospital, as well as the palliative care nurses from the Cowansville CLSC for all their devotion and care throughout her long battle. A special thank you to our family doctor, Dominique Désy, who became Melanie's lifelong friend.
